Abstract
The decision concerning athletes’ participation in sports is one of the most important issues for the sports medicine. It is necessary to decide correctly in the periodic examination of athletes with heart disease. Correct decisions require accurate and current information. Issues to be considered in the decision of sports participation in athletes with heart disease are summarized in this article, by means of tables according to different cardiac pathologies.
